Father-daughter team Mike Barr and Zemie Barr started Barr Fiduciary Services in July 2025.
Mike Barr
Prior to forming Barr Fiduciary Services with Zemie, Mike served as President of the Commerce Bank of Oregon from 2015-2025. He holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and has over forty years of experience in commercial banking, investment banking, trust management and as a CFO. He is an avid reader, an outdoor and tennis enthusiast, and enjoys spending time with family and friends near his home in Central Oregon. He completed Guardian Partners’ course requirements for court-involved trustees and personal representatives in 2025.
Zemie Barr
Zemie has a background in arts administration and entrepreneurial business and holds a Master’s in Curatorial Studies from the University of Southern California. She co-owned Wolff Gallery in Portland from 2015-2019 and most recently worked for an art consulting firm in Chicago before returning to the Pacific Northwest in 2024. Zemie is a photo-based artist and enjoys gardening, traveling to the Oregon Coast, and spending time with family and friends as often as possible. She plans to complete Portland Community College’s paralegal certificate program in 2026.
